For over 65 years, United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton (URS) has provided a comprehensive continuum of services to meet the needs of children, adults, and seniors with developmental and acquired disabilities throughout the Greater Dayton Region.

We have the region’s only fully-inclusive Early Childhood Education Center, serving both typically-developing children and those with special needs. On-site nurses and therapies are available to support the children and adults we serve throughout the day. As a CARF-accredited organization and a Five-Star Gold-Rated program under the Ohio Department of Children & Youth's Step Up to Quality system, URS offers the highest quality of care for children and adults of all abilities.

Our wide array of programs include Adult Day Services, Community Integration, and Infant, Toddler, Preschool & School-Age Youth. We also have an on-site Therapy Center that offers outpatient services in Physical, Occupational, Speech, Aquatic Therapy, and Augmentative Communications. Additionally, we offer community-based Employment Services, including Job Development, Job Coaching, Transition Youth, and Project Search Programs to three counties in Southwest Ohio.

Our dedicated, high-quality DSPs provide support and assistance to clients in our adult day support and vocational programs. We are looking for DSPs who have abilities in, and enjoy, community outings, singing and dancing, playing board games, exploring technology, and more! We strive to maintain a team focus in all job-related areas, and will train and assist DSPs - a great work ethic is necessary in this role.

Education Requirements (All)
High School Diploma/GED required; a minimum of two years of experience in Adult Day Habilitation or Residential Services highly preferred
Certification Requirements (All)
First Aid and CPR (can be obtained after hire
before start date)
