Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5 years experience, Bachelor's Degree with 2 years experience preferred; in cash handling, account payable, or general ledger functions desired.
- Combined college education and experience in cash handling, accounts payable, or general ledge functions to equal six years required.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and word processing computer programs: Excel, Microsoft Word and Quicken desired. Also to become proficient in using the Resident's Account Software (Banker).
- KNowledge of accounting office practices and procedures; budgeting, checking account balancing, bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting, inventory.
- Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
- Ability to read and write routine reports, statistical information (i.e. punctuation, grammar and spelling at a level normally acquired through the completion of a degree program).
- Interpersonal communication skills requiring professional courtesy and tact are necessary to communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, social services, vendors, criminal justice agencies, as well as the general public.
- Possession of a valid Ohio driver's license.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

2. This is a minimum security facility, therefore all outside access doors are locked at all times.

Starting Salary for this position is $45,738.16 annually
